Cool. It would be nice if they as much time into improving gameplay as they do into the intro.

So, why is the fan in the stands holding up a sign that says “Sorry Dad, I’m no longer enrolled here”??

That’s bizarre. I must be missing something.

Big Phil and Russell are coming back? Awesome!

I could be wrong but this is identical to the intro in NCAA Football 2010. In 2011 from the offical release trailer, it shows the team running out and touching the wolf statue. I believe this is actual 2010 gameplay that someone says is 2011 to get youtube hits. If not, then 2011 is excatly the same as 2010.

There are several signs held by fans in the stands in the NCAA Football games and that just happens to be one of them. Why are two of them almost side by side doing it there? That’s a good question. I think it’s a conspiracy 😉

I haven’t bought a new NCAA football game in years. When did they start putting the names on the jerseys? And do they have a All-NC State team yet?

The game does not come with the names on the back of the jersey, you can either manually enter the names, or you can upload an entire roster on your game, so that all your guys have their names on the jersey. Also, what’s up with playing Utah State? I mean our OOC home games are bad enough, we don’t need to add to it….

Actually, its not a fake. It is for NCAA Football 2011…but thats the game that came out last year. For whatever reason, sports games always use the next year rather than the current year…I guess some idiotic way to make it sounds like the latest greatest thing. Its pretty stupid. The video is dated December 10, 2010, so Im pretty sure the uploader isnt trying to trick anyone.

*Above I said it was 2010 instead of 2011 but I meant 2011 instead of 2012.

The only way to get the names on the jerseys is to download rosters that users edit and upload to change each person. This is the actual footage from 2011 after playing the game to make sure. There is no way that users could create rosters when the game is not out for release until july and the game developers can not put the names on the jerseys for lawsuits sake.

http://www.pastapadre.com/2011/04/19/ncaa-football-12-debut-trailer that is the actual trailer for the new game. Pictures also show the team running out touching the wolf statue.

The gameplay vastly improved over the years…it looks and feels more real than ever…

Cyclon, sports video games tend to refer to the coming year because thats when the season ends…NFL, NBA, NHL, NCAA Football & Basketball all start their seasons in one year and finish their seasons the following year (i.e. 2011-2012 season)…thats why games do that, it has nothing to do with being the next big thing…

I’m a sports video game dork. I have had every version of college football from ea sports since it was bill walsh football 95. The game is better every year.

My wife can’t even tell if it’s a real game or not when she walks in the room.

Excited to see the new one which will be 2012

off subject but does anyone have any news on adidas, nike or under armour gear.. ??

I dont know who this Cyclon fellow is, but Ill respond. That numbering method makes sense for basketball and hockey, but not for football (also, they do use the incorrect future year method for Nascar and golf). Look at football: the Packers are considered the champion for the 2010 season, even though the Superbowl was played in 2011 (in fact, thats the reason the Superbowl uses roman numerals rather than saying “The 2011 Superbowl”). There is no “2010-2011” season…its just one year. Same for college football.
If the games were titled properly, then StateFans wouldnt have made the mistake of posting a video from last years game thinking it was this years.
