Weekly pump up video!

SFN reader, Plz2BStateFan, continues to create some Wolfpack videos for the community to enjoy.   This week’s ‘pump up’ is included below; it takes more of a traditional approach as a music video.

While we are talking videos, ESPN’s College Football Live led off their daily “Extra” talking about NC State as the surprise of September!  (Link)  We’ve also embedded it below.

Pat Forde from ESPN has Va. Tech beating NCSU 21-19. I am fine with that. I like it when the national audience has no clue. My only problem I have is, Does he really think that Va. Tech can limit this offense to 19 points? Yeah I don’t understand that.

^ In that scenario, we cover the spread for the 5th consecutive game (going back to the UNC game last year). Just sayin

^I felt very confident about the GT game.

This game I’m a little worried about there being too much emotion with a sold out crowd and the players being a little too keyed this weekend.

I have faith and I know the team can win this game, just feeling a little weary, and VT is good. I would be surprised though if State is held to 19 points. Just not enough respect for some really solid, good offensive line play this season.

    Go Pack! Keep the faith!

And thanks for your contributions, Plz2B.

They thew a shutout on BC. Not our offense, I understand. But to hold a team to 0 is an accomplishment. Let’s not underestimate this team. They are very talented and dangerous. If it is close and comes down to field position and special teams, they win. I hope the team doesn’t get too jacked up and lose their poise. That’s a huge component of why this team is where it is; they haven’t beaten themselves.

Plz2BStateFan: My wife has worked in advertising and PR for a good 20 years, and she’s done pretty well for herself. Let’s just say you have definitely heard of some of the clients she has handled.

Anyway, I showed this video to a working video director and another producer who keeps himself busy as well that she works with because I was impressed by your vid.

I am going to pass their comments on verbatim:

“That guy is talented. Who does he work for?”

“That is EXCELLENT. Psyches me up for the game on Saturday!”

I thought you should hear that. That is excellent work, sir. I don’t know if you do this for a living, but if you don’t, you have guys who do thinking that you should.

Nice football clips. Could have done without the video of the awful band.

“WOW” is right !! Good stuff, if not in the biz, you missed your calling.

Hey Plz2B, you got an email contact? I’d like to talk shop on what program you are using for editing and producing your great vids. I dabble in vids and have outdoor related web based show, have not found anything I like yet…

Thanks for the feedback everyone. This is the 5th one I have done.

I am using Adobe Premiere. I use youtube downloader to get the material off of youtube, and I use a Any Video Converter to convert videos for use in Adobe.

Starting with the GT game, I have the ability to get video from my DVR to my PC, but most of the video comes from youtube. You need to remember, all I did was edit in video into a music video. The only thing I can take credit for is the timing and pacing of the inserted material.

And this kind of video is limited from people who hate that kind of music. But, in doing this mess, I have learned how differently people can absorb what you do from what its intent is.

This is just a hobbie I picked up from taking a film class in college and having a film major of a room mate.

Make sure to check out the other videos I have done.
