Russell Wilson vs Philip Rivers QB Rating Watch
After last week’s game vs Western Carolina, Russell Wilson’s career QB rating of 144.27 had passed Philip Rivers’ career rating of 143.17. After the UCF game, Wilson returned the crown for the school’s career passer rating as his new rating now stands at 141.30. As the season goes on we will see if Wilson can regain and hang on to that record.

Our offense only scored 21 points in the ucf game. We had an interception returned for a touchdown to make it 28 pts.
    Just an observation

Great stuff. I am not trying to make work, but I’d love to see the ACC and national rank (at least of the team stats). I think that’d provide a good comparison.

It was interesting that, if I remember correctly, that the first 9 punts were in our standard punting formation. However, the last punt was the rugby style punt that we ran a lot last year near the end of the schedule.

Was it coincidence that that one was the 14 yarder?

Was it rugby style because of the increased punt block pressure of UCF?

Was it 14 yards because of the time remaining in the game?

Actually, the defense only gave up 14pts against UCF. One TD should go against our special teams. They actually went 6 straight quarters without giving up a point. Not too shabby considering what most of us thought we would have on defense this year.

This will be a great stat to see as the year progresses though!
