According the Outback Bowl website, they are still SEC v. Big Ten next season and will be into the future.

Other than that this is a decent bowl lineup but the fact that the ACC lacks a New Year’s Day Bowl is kind of a downer. Plus it is hard to see either the Independence or Sun Bowls drawing that many fans depending on who is in them.

Is the schedule on that link correct with regard to TV? 35 games total, and 30 of them are listed on ESPN. Two others are listed on ESPN2 and ESPN-U (one each). Only 3 are listed as being carried on one of the so-called “big” networks….Sun(CBS), Outback(ABC) and Cotton(FOX). Even the BCS National Championship game (Monday 1/10, 8pm) is listed as being on ESPN.

Just curious if some of those, especially the BCS Championship, might end up on ABC, or even U or 2 for some of the lesser bowls.

Good call on the Outback Bowl. Wish we could have landed that one.
