SFN Stuff Site News15

Now that football season is right around the corner, I wanted to take a moment to update the community on a few things.

  • Mobile access has returned to SFN. We had to cut it off around the time of release of the new SFN version a few months back. But it has been restored. Looks great on the iPhone and other smart phones and commenting on posts is also readily available.
  • We also just recently opened up the SFN Community Forums, so take a peak over there. If you currently have a login and password to use with SFN, that same login and password will work with the forum as well. The forums are also available on most mobile phones.
  • I also want to bring your attention to our Flickr Pool on the sidebar of this page. Take plenty of photos at the pep rally, tailgate, and the subsequent sweet victory on Thursday. Use your best judgment when uploading photos.

    Anyone having problems accessing SFN using IE7 or 8? I have been accessing fine until last week, now only get on sporadically using either version – page locks up, will not respond. Not having problems with any other sites. Everything SFN works fine with FireFox.

    I’ve been having those same issues for the past week as well on both my personal and work laptops (IE7). It’s so bad, I haven’t been checking in very often.

    Try reloading. Alot of these issues should be gone. Let us know!

    I was having IE7 problems (work) for a while. Won’t be in the office util tomorrow, but I think that everything has been fixed. Anyone else?

    I just tested in IE7… humming along. Sorry about these issues, I chalked them up to StateFans not having an up to date computer, or the standard ID10T issue 🙂

    The moral of the story is: FireFox runs buggy code a hell of a lot better than IE.

    But, all the buggy code should be gone.

    Hey, I have a question on the Wiki. I created a page on the NC State wrestling team, about a month ago but it has never been posted to the Wiki. It would show up on “recent edits”, but when you went to wrestling by following the links on the existing pages, it didn’t work.

    There is a significant chance this is due to my unfamiliarity with Wikis. Any thoughts?

    Wiki has been a little funky…but, we are actually getting ready to unveil a big move on that front…so, don’t get too hung up on anything right now.

    We have forums for that now, or at the very least the TRADITIONS post… and if you told us that we’d be replacing NNNNN CCCCC STAAAATE N C STATE, we’d be all on board.

    I love how the mobile option is there again to shift from topic to topic without going back to the main page. With a mobile phone browser this saves tons of time. Good work!
