BC @ State set for noon

Boston College’s visit to Raleigh on October 4th has been set for a noon kickoff and will be televised on Raycom.

Let’s hope that Russell Wilson, Nate Irving and a few more of our walking wounded will be well by then to help Coach O’Brien battle his former team.

As for this weekend?

Well, Section Six is not concerned. They’ve used a little creativity to lighten the day with this entry.

StateFans, feel free to delete this, i jsut wanted to alert you guys to some kid we are now recruiting in bball. Deniz Kilicli.

He’s some 6-9 (220) turkish phenom who’s just started school in west virginia and the UCLA coach who saw him said he’s got more skills than Kevin Love.

The biggest reason I want us to not suck is so I don’t have to get up at OhGod:30 to watch us play football.

Note: Anything before 11 on a Sat. is OhGod:30

Ismael, Good to hear Sidney and Co. are jumping on recruits early. That kid sounds like a heckuva player, surprised that Duke is even recruiting him as he’s likely a 1-2 and done player.

So the Section Six entry actually brought a smile to my face. Just glad the Sidney reference wasn’t a comparison of weights!

At least its noon eastern – I’ve got to be up and ready to watch the game a freaking 11 am! Its almost uncivilized to have to start drinking before 11.

Geez – I cannot stand noon kick-offs! Last Saturday, I had to get up at 6:00 AM after being up w/ the baby all night, we busted our butts to get there and drop the boy off at Mom’s house and did great to show up the tailgate at 11 AM.

That Section 6 spoof was great. Hopefully HB has a sense of humor. He’s in the spotlight now and hopefully will make the best of this opportunity. Go Pack.

I’m not a fan of noon games…but I’m really not a fan of noon games on Homecoming weekend.

That last picture of Dick Christie saying “I’ve seen better” was priceless.

On the recruit from Turkey, Sid should call on Atsur to help out.

“That Section 6 spoof was great.”

Hilarious, but would have been moreso had the first word he used not been G-D. Unnecessary when there is a perfectly good “f-ing” at your disposal.

I truly hope we destroy “Jags” and company.

Not a fan of noon games, am a fan of “nooners.”

I saw this weeks’ upcoming ACC slate. It looks like there were 3 noon games, one 3:45 and two evening games.

If that’s going to be the breakdown going forward, night games will be a rarity. How fun in September and October!

I ‘ll take a 50-50 split on nooners and 730ers. Nothing in between.

Here’s to another game where i’ll be so out of it the first half that I’ll miss 14 points along the way.
