There is something outright silly about having games in late August/early September in about half of the country at noon. In the Southeast and lower Southern part of the country, you probably shouldn’t have kick offs until 6 or 7 pm in the evening.

As bad as our Clemson game is, there’s a shot that we can have some decent weather. However, VaTech and ECU in Greenville at high noon – dear God.

good point, Choppack…nice to see that it won’t be possible for us to have a noon or 1 pm start earlier than September 20. Here’s to the first cool snap of fall coming in on September 19th, because a game vs. ECU is almost certainly going to be a 1 pm start. That game is unlikely to land a 3:30 or 7:30 pm TV slot (and, given the history of this rivalry, there is no way on earth our administration is going to give ECU fans all day to drink by putting it at 6 pm)

89, you underestimate the sheer stupidity of our administration and event planners.

    choppack,

I think I saw that the ECU/ VaTech game is to be played in Charlotte. Agreed though, it’ll likely still be hotter than hell.

    ^^^
I think the general timidity of our administration in this particular case will lead them to want to prevent damage to our facilities and bad publicity due to fights/murder and mayhem in the parking lots.

Also, I saw that all games on ESPN/ABC family of networks will now be in HD.

Chris, do you have the link to the Excel table that has all of the conference schedules listed? I had that one last year and it was really big help.
