N&O: Hickson To Test NBA Waters

As we indicated just a couple of days ago

RALEIGH — N.C. State freshman J.J. Hickson will enter his name in the NBA Draft but he will go through the process without hiring an agent, Wolfpack coach Sidney Lowe said Monday, leaving the door open for a possible return.”He’ll test the waters,” Lowe said. “He’ll get all the information he can and decide what’s the best thing. It may depend on where he’s going in the draft.”

“Sid likes those multipositional players”! Now I know why Shackleford thought he was “amphibious”!

Sorry, I couldn’t resist that one!

    blackdom,

I know most city kids aren’t aware of life outside the 5 boroughs. That’s no secret to anyone with the pleasure to meet a NYer. Philly kids view Jersey the same way, so you know.

Could it have been a poorly timed attempt a dry humor? Sure, but it didn’t seem that way at the time, and since when is subtlety a trait of city kids?
