How come there’s only a basketball and a football? I thought yall are adding baseball to the mix?

  2. packbackr04 03/03/2008 at 11:08 AM #

well, how could you expect to compete with the other sites if you dont have a nice header?

    Sincerely,

    Lee Fowler

Again, I am impressed with the organization of StateFans. If I had to come up with some criticism, I would say drop the football and basketball from the header. I know that is the main focus of StateFans, but I think we should support all teams.

Nice looking. Has Coalmarch Productions ever thought about working for Gopack? They could use some help.

Sweet! Way to go Jason and SFN.

    nice

Why not add “2007 Old Spice Champions” to the header? That would give it a touch of class; and perhaps a new slogan – “Your Team Can’t Stink with Old Spice.”

  10. Howler 03/03/2008 at 1:26 PM #

    But seriously, it looks good.

  11. LRM 03/03/2008 at 1:33 PM #

Sad part: we were one crappy call in our favor away from being 2007 Old Spice Runners-up.

/\ After Saturday, I think it balanced out.

    Nice header.

BTW if you were taking the Lee Fowler approach, you would ask for donations until you had the most technologically advanced web-site in cyber-space. There would be a contract to continue with donations, after this task is accomplished.

Then you would have mediocre entries and try to convince people, when you bother to engage them at all, that your entries are getting better when they aren’t.

Then you would insult the readers who donated because they expect too much from the web-site, and shouldn’t compare it to other web-sites.

    Nice. Very Web 2.0ish.

Wonder if there’s any basketball players in South Korea that we can recruit???

    The new logo looks great.

I was once on a plane to Taiwan which stopped in Seoul. I was wearing a jacket with NCSU logo on it. At least a half dozen Koreans on the flight told me they had earned degrees at NCSU, mostly engineering. So I guess this development isn’t very surprising. It would be a supreme irony if that school’s enrollment surpasses the one in Raleigh.

    beauuuuuuutiful

I think we should have given the old logo at least 3-5 years to see what it could have done once it got all its own recruits here. It just needed a little more time….I just know it was headed for a breakout season.

    berry nice …

    funny, howler πŸ™‚

Congrats’ guys, the new header looks awesome.

The only thing I would have looked into is instead of using the basketball, football emblems to each side; the two mask faces the represent greek drama. One Red (obviously) and one White.

To be(at) or not to be(at).” Why ask the question when the Department heads could care less?

Looks good – dresses it up a bit. I do like the relatively simply WordPress layout you’re using. Only thing I would offer is avoid the temptation to “pretty” things up too much. I’ve always enjoyed the straightforward, mostly uncluttered experience of this blog, which puts the original content first. That’s what keeps us coming back for more.

  21. tvopack 03/03/2008 at 4:33 PM #

honestly, good effort and beatifully designed. Thanks!!! I just don’t think design fits theme and the nature of this blog. Not many people showing much of enthusiasm for this new logo.
It could be just me but I like something similar to the last. Simple, neat, and classic.

  22. tvopack 03/03/2008 at 4:37 PM #

Just replace last one with an “image logo” rather “text on top” and that should solve the problem. May be texturizing the font jusssst a little bit.

change the ‘o’ in Blog to a baseball… great design!

  24. redfred2 03/03/2008 at 6:34 PM #

Look at that thing, all the fancy dancy shading and the reflections at the bottom. What was wrong with the old one? Why must things always have to change? Why I ask? WHY???!!! πŸ™

JK πŸ˜‰ Very nice, looks very professional.

    Better looking than the competition.
