Did Chuck Amato make a cameo coaching appearance for the Pack this weekend?

I don’t know if Chuck would have recognized this team in the first half.

Wake has the best holders (blockers) in the universe. I just don’t see how you can block someone when you are in front of him and he is trying to move sideways without holding him.

What was the ultimate insult, we get called for a chop block.

Not that we didn’t deserve to lose, but, that was the worst officiating on earth.

We need to coach our boys how to hold properly.

Mercy, what an ass-kicking. Wake Forest is clearly the best coached team in the ACC. Every year from here on out, TOB will have a clear measuring stick for the progress of his program sitting 100 miles west in Winston-Salem. This program will never achieve anything notable or special in a season until it can consistently be competitive with Wake Forest (we used to say “until it can consistently beat Wake Forest”, but that era has ended until Jim Grobe leaves Winston-Salem). I don’t think we’ve EVER lost four games in a row to Wake Forest, but from a year away, it looks like it would take a monumental upset to beat them in 2008 in Carter-Finley. The only two teams that totally manhandled us this season were them and Clemson.

How embarassing was it for us and UNC that the two flagship public universities in this state both had their ass handed to them by a school that is maybe one-seventh their size and whose most notable athletic achievements (before last season)were in golf and field hockey?
