and BC knows it.

Good luck with the effort to change the perception reality that BC fans don’t travel.

But, I think that the ACC Championship game and the Eagles’ bowl appearance in any bowl but a BCS game will only serve to support the well earned reputation.

It’s telling to have to beg/order your school’s fans to attend the ACC Title game, when you think about it.

Right now, if NC State was in that game, there would be few if any tickets available from the Wolfpack Club or through Ticketmaster. Pre-game party, tailgating and travel planning would be well underway. For that AND the Orange Bowl.

I do like the first comment about Eagle being preachy.

at least they understand how important it is for their fans to show up. If they don’t they have no one to blame… except TOB (and they will find a way).

I didn’t think Eagle was really being preachy. Maybe a bit too pearchy, if that’s possible for a bird of prey. Atlanta must really suck for this guy.

“But if 15,000 to 20,000 BC fans show up for the ACC Championship Game our athletic department will have proof that we are worthy for bigger and better bowls in the future.”

That statement doesn’t seem to make sense. What does the BC athletic department have to do with bowl selections? Do they understand how the bowl selection process works?

Oh, now I get it. He’s saying the athletic department will have the ammo they need to fight for a better bowl. Nevermind.
