We’ll Be On 850 The Buzz at 7:10 Tomorrow Morning
Adam Gold and Joe Ovies have been kind enough to invite myself and Maryland blogger Greg Abel, to have a short debate on our two teams, and their respective chances against each other and in this weekend’s ACC Tournament on 850 The Buzz at 7:10am tomorrow morning.
Abel is a nice guy and writes a well-informed Maryland-focused blog, Terpsnation.com. He’s definitely not in the list of what we view as the stereotypical Maryland fan, and I’m glad I had a chance to meet him, albeit over the phone and on-air.

Alpha, you go beat Greg on radio first, then Wolfpack will beat Maryland on the floor tomorrow night.

Actually, to come clean, it was recorded shortly after I posted this. It went well, no smack was talked, and I ran over one minute and got interrupted for being a blabbermouth.
I think I did well, and didn’t sound like a squeaky little girl.
I am pretty sure that Joe will put it up online on their blog afterwards.
Then again, they had Patricia Hannigan, aka “The Golf Girl” on today, and he hasn’t posted that yet. Patricia is quite fetching and I missed her interview with her today so I am hoping Joe finds the time to get it on their blog. I had sent Joe an email telling him about her, so I am especially interested in hearing her voice…

Alpha, that would have to be one painful assignment, assuming you have been asked to take the normal role as an advocate for your team. My brother is a UMd fan and our discussionw at the moment consists of who sucks the most, with each taking the position that his own team does. Makes for a pretty non-traditional debate.

I don’t know if that’ll really help, but whatever it takes for Alpha is certainly OK by me.
I would suggest studying instead of studing although studing sounds like more fun, it doesn’t translate well on the radio.
I don’t think we really hate Maryland like those blue teams and heck we pull for them at least twice a year when they play unx
