How hard it is to research how many seniors State is starting/playing?

That was not a fun game to watch. First half was fun. Second half was an exercise in frustration. Classic NC State:

    BIPOLAR!

I told a buddy over Christmas this could well be the best bowl game to watch. Not always pretty, lots of twists and turns. Glad to see the Pack prevail.

I enjoyed it, even the sketchy bits.

Nice to get the win. I agreed with going for it on 4th and 2, but I would have preferred play action. Amerson should have been the Player of The Game. Without his TD in the second half we lose the game. Glennon had a nice first half, but I thought the defense won this game.

Louisville starts about ten freshmen. They should be very good the next couple of years if Bridgewater (recovers from this game and) stays healthy. The game wasn’t very pretty. But there was a lot of heart on both sides of the ball! Glad we could get a win.

Bible was out of his ass in the first half, as he put it all on Glennon…set the tone.

Dontae Johnson saved both halves, and the season begining in Virginia

Really? Watching your NC State win a bowl game, go 8-5 (after being given up for dead since TOB, according to many, should not allow any injuries or have a depth chart 3-starter deep at every position), show up UNC-BS after their woeful bowl performance and possibly crack the top-25 on top of last year’s season and many of the starters (and Glennon) returning for next year and your not happy and say the game was not fun to watch?

I say the game was a classic college football game unless you consider the semi-pro SEC to be college football.

Yeah, really. I was talking about this game. It’s a microcosm of the season. The first half was awesome but the W at the end of this game is a relief, not excitement. I am happy with the outcome of the season and the game in the end even if part of it was very un-fun getting there.

ancsu87, your schtick got old hours ago… enough already.

  13. ancsu87 12/28/2011 at 1:13 AM #

Tau837 — go back and read the hateful things said about players (TJ) and coaches here. That crap gets old very quickly and whether anyone wants to understand it or not having this crap out in public domain does not help us at all.

I say enough already with the bashing of 17-22 year old players and the coaches. It was old months ago.

ancsu87, sometimes fans want to vent. That’s all.

I’m sure anyone who took the time and effort to post here is happy with the team in general.

    ancsu87,
People commented on the good and they commented on the bad. If you want to read only about lollipops and rainbows then this site is not for you.

  16. ancsu87 12/28/2011 at 12:30 PM #

    Rick,
“TJ is an idiot” and other similar comments are not just a comment on the good or the bad. Sorry but it is not no matter how hard you try to excuse it.

Telling a third generation alumni from NC State that this site is not for him because he does not support the party line sounds a lot like the attitude of Bob “My middle initial must be I” Kennel that this site often complains about.

    ancsu87,
I understand where you’re coming from and I do agree to an extent. I always hate to see players get called out…as you said, they’re 17-22 y.o.’s and short of doing something that embarrasses the university, in general I don’t think it’s good to call them out. The coaches are a different story.

I also realize that other folks are not necessarily of like mind, and as BJD stated in another thread, venting is going to happen. Frustration can lead folks to posting things in the heat of the moment, some of which is over the line at times. Free speech is a helluva thing sometimes.

But to then repeatedly bring it up after the fact (now into the next day) only draws more attention to it. And for you to imply that Rick asked you to leave the site if you don’t toe the party line is ludicrous, when what he said was essentially that if you don’t like it here it might behoove you to look elsewhere.

Finally, comparing anyone or anything here to Bob Kennel is just laughable.
