Below is the article from WRAL. Can we help her out with a lawyer recommendation?

PITTSBORO, N.C. — Chancellor Carol Folt of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was issued a citation for speeding on New Year’s Day, according to court records.

Folt, 62, is accused of driving at 76 mph in a 55-mph zone in Chatham County, records show, although the precise location of the alleged offense wasn’t listed.

The records also note that Folt, who took over as chancellor in July, still has a driver’s license and vehicle registration from New Hampshire, dating to her days as provost at Dartmouth College.

Under North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles regulations, people are supposed to register their vehicles and obtain a state driver’s license usually within 30 days of moving to the state.

UNC-Chapel Hill issued a statement saying that Folk was heading to a New Year’s Day hike with her husband when she was pulled over shortly before 4 p.m.

“She regrets the oversight and fully believes in the practice of safe driving habits and obeying all prevailing traffic laws,” the statement said.

Folt has a Feb. 6 court date.

“She regrets the oversight”. Is the the new catch phrase that will replace EDI?
