ACCT game threads are particularly fun, so I will hope for multiples. As ladyfolk will attest…that hope usually ends in disappointment.

^But there’s always that ‘one time’ …
So much for assuming Duke over Wake.
Wake is about to beat Dook in Winston-up six with 1:30 left…
… ya’ll better NOT jinx this….
NOW….
Baptists win by TEN over the Methodists…
Sulaimon with 2 flailing leg 3 pointers, refs bit once, not the second time. Then when Duke had backed off, Sulaimon sneaks up from behind to get a “steal” and Dook still can’t convert. Bush league.
State needs to win some of these effing games!
… needless to say… Coach Rat was ‘pissed’…
Five minutes late in the game without scoring a basket…
Somebody’s gonna be running a bunch of steps…
I just glad we don’t have to play Dook and a pissed off Coach Rat next….
So, actually this is kinda good for us, in that Cuse controls its own destiny. And if I’m thinking right, beat BC and we avoid a Friday Blue no matter what.
Cuse beats FSU – Cuse is 2, Pack is 7.
FSU beats Cuse – ??? is 2/3/4, but Pack is definitely 8.
Or scratch that – we now can’t play a Friday Blue NO MATTER WHAT, because a loss to BC locks us into 8/9 matchup with Maryland, with their game against UVA mattering only for home team unis.
In summary, State can now face ONLY Virginia or Syracuse in a hypothetical ACCT Friday matchup.
…thanks…Beej… for the quick update of the pairings…
either way it goes… it makes little difference…
it is the ACC Tournament…
it is in Greensboro..
it is a Friday…
and anything can happen (since 1954)….

Now… ya’ll can say what you want to about Coach BZZZZZZZZZZZZZ and the Deacs….
When was the last time the Deacs beat everybody on Tobacco Road in the same season?
And there’s a good chance … he still gets his walking papers…
