Congrats to Gwizz! 2 time champ, undefeated season! He will try to make it 3 in a row next year.
Don’t forget Kevin Jack, an unseeded freshman, finished 5th at 141 lbs. He beat the #4, #5, and #12 wrestlers to bring home 5th place, which is extremely exciting.
55 straight and counting.
“Going 5-0 enroute to the title, Gwiazdowski outscored his opponents an incredible 45-14. Among those five wins, he defeated the #16 seed, #8 seed, #5 seed and then the #6 seed in the championship bout.”
Thanks in large part to Nick and Kevin Jack, State finished 16th in the team score, ahead of all other ACC teams except for VaTech.
