Freeman, as usual, has brought his lunch pail to put in some WORK on the boards tonight.
I hope we’re always blessed to have a Howell / Freeman type player.

For some context, Hofstra started their season Friday night w/ a 94-61 win over future Pack opponent Jacksonville.
Jacksonville is 1-1 and plays previous Pack opponent Jackson St. tomorrow night.
Gott in year 1 always seemed to have 4 players in double digits scoring wise with 3-4 others chipping in points. This team could have 6 players in double digits every night with another 3-4 guys kicking in.
At the half… Freeman (8) and Washington has 11 rebounds..
Dog and Cat have TEN….. and Freeman picked up 3 of his in last minute and a half..

There was a post game comment after the last game that referred to how much time Coach Moxley and Cat had spent over the summer shooting threes…
Now we see tangible results of that… but the greater good for this Team may lie in the intangibles… that is… obviously Cat is listening to Coach and is working hard on the hard things rather than being a “little independent” in his thinking and focusing on those things that come easy…
That is what a team leader does… and this is what good Coaches do…
