FB Recruiting: New NC State Offer (#Pack15)

NC State has been evaluating (re: waiting on grades) before they offered ECU commit Emmanuel Olenga from Charlotte Olympic. Olenga is a monster athlete who hasn’t been highly recruited because of academic issues. Word is he seems to have gotten things close to squared away and NC State has jumped in on his recruitment. He’s a 3-star on Rivals with a high ceiling that the coaches love.

There has been speculation today that he has been offered but we are able to confirm those were just rumors and he was offered about an hour ago. We’ll keep you up to date on this late developing story as the winter dead period is over and recruiting is heating up.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like he plays defensive end…which, I guess becomes a position of higher importance now that Drew Davis’ career has been cut prematurely short with injury.

Absolutely. This kid has a lot of potential and athletically would be an upgrade.
