If you haven’t been following UNC’s football recruiting recently then it is definitely something to pay a little attention to. Carolina has now had 5 or 6 top commitments de-commit and re-open their recruiting. I guess this is what happens when you realize that you’ve been lied to by the coaches about something as important as an NCAA investigation.
Yesterday, it appears Emanuel McGirt, a highly ranked Offensive Tackle from Durham Hillside told the Tar heels that it was time for him to look eslewhere.
In-state OL @Mcgirt7 told @Steve_PackPride that he opened back up his recruitment. NC State is in the mix.

The 6 foot 6, 280 pounder seems to be leaning towards Georgia and NC State at this point. Des Kitchings is recruiting McGirt for the Pack.
Hines and McGirt want to play together. Hines visits, next day McGirt re-opens recruitment. hmm

BTW, how is that working out for you James?
