KeymasterNot a lot I’m interested in early … guess I’ll keep an eye on UGa-Tenn. Vols driving early (edit – opening drive field goal, 3-0).
As for our game, I can’t blame the Gameday guys – we’ve made some strides but have a ways to go. I kinda have an uneasy feeling about today’s game due to hype/anxiousness (my ‘uneasy feelings’ typically mean a high probability of good things for the Pack haha). I have a sense of dread about an early turnover for a score and then stadium deflation … if that doesn’t happen and it’s reasonable at halftime then maybe we can make it interesting :).
That said, FSU scored on the first play of the game back in ’98 and we somehow won (thanks, Weinke) – so you never know!

ParticipantDawgs getting behind early. One of the Gameday folks had them in the final four this morning. What a joke!
Thank you SEC Network for keeping all of the garbage SEC games off of the ESPN channels. What a captivating triple header they have today.

KeymasterVandy/UK was a sleeper game for me coming into the day, but gakking up the Chickens game may have broken Vandy’s back for good.
What Stoops is building in Lexington is really, really interesting. Reminds me of how Dan Mullen built up the Cowbells.

ParticipantUSF hanging with Wiscy. 3 apiece at the half.
That means the Pack is way awesomer than we thought, right?

Check that…Mason actually completed a passing TD.09/27/2014 at 1:33 PM #57073Wulfpack

You need to take a look at their schedule as it sets up very nice. They will be favored against all but Aubie. No Bama. No LSU. No TAMU. They definitely can make a run at it.

KeymasterAubie plus the SEC Finals. I don’t think they get in if they finish below the Chickens. That would be 1 loss, but with paucity of quality wins. Much more likely that if the SEC sends two, both are from the West.

KeymasterOr put it this way – I am CAUTIOUSLY optimistic that the committee really will look at schedule and not go with the dopey, simplistic W/L analysis.
Any 2-loss SECW team will likely have had a better season than UGA.

KeymasterUSF-Wiscy score at the half is beyond surprising.

Georgia isn’t one of the best four teams in the SEC, much less the country.

I’m not saying they are. What I am saying is if you look at their schedule, it is a real possibility they win 10-11 games. If they knock of Aubie (assuming they don’t slip up against anyone else), you can bet your behind they will be in the conversation. It is still the SEC.

Yep, at least to the Sunshine crew who can’t get past any analysis deeper than the transitive property.
