enough of the wailing and gnashing of teeth over yesterday’s dump in the Hole..

    Keeping it local…
    Keeping it in the Family…

    Clemsom v. Alabama
    Dabo v. Saban

    Who wants to play?
    Who wants to win?

I want Clemson to win. Big Time. Screw it. The way they recruit now, it only helps us if they win and won’t help us if they lose. Go ACC! Tired of hearing all the SEC talk the last 15 years also.

Same prediction as last year. Bama by 40.

    Spread is only 6.5 though.

I know that I should be posting in AT’s wagering thread, but I’m to lazy to dig it up.

This is a horrible game to wager.
6.5 on the spread. + 195/-200 on the money line, and 51 1/2 on the O/U.

As much as it sickens me to do so, I suppose that I will pull for Clemmons. I lived in Clemmons not long after I graduated at State, and at that time could never envision a time in my life when I could ever, ever in a gazillion years pull for Clemmons.. Guess I’m getting soft in my old age. Well, not soft maybe, but softer. I could never pull for the Holes against anyone, (including Daesh’s A-team), conference and Swoffy be damned. On second thought, who cares? This is a case of two mules fighting over a turnip…..

Bama can drop off the earth. But, I don’t care!

^ Other than for the fact that if you were in Atlanta and wanted to go to New Orleans, you have to go to Nashville… who would notice…

Actually, except for the Gulf Coast and the SE corner around Dothan, most of the rest of Alabama, except Birmingham, reminds one of those sections of Piedmont North Carolina that remain unaffected by urban sprawl…

And for you North Carolina boys… don’t eat no BBQ anywhere in Alabama, even if they do have Coach Bryant’s Houndstooth Hat picture on the wall… not worthy for dogs, much less people….

Yup, my prediction was wrong last year. Different teams this year. Predicting Bama big again.

Yes everything I’ve heard says it’s a super sharp line all around. My prediction, and gut feeling, is Saban’s boys dominates over the team that WE almost knocked off.

    hey wiseguys….

    novice sports gambling question…

is there a easy way to play the winner two ways, play the edges, stay away from the crowd…so to speak ?

    bet Tigers to win outright
bet Bama to win the blowout, say by 15 or more…
    avoid the other options…

what’s the up and down on that?

Ya’ll know, ya’ll can do this on the CBOT, just not on football games…
Ya’ll do know what arbitrage is, don’t you?

I’m pulling for Bama. At least Nick Saban is forthright with his evilness. Dabo is more outspoken re his humility than any human I’ve ever heard of.

Straight man by Saban and company, you got him-I got him, 7 in the box.

If Nick wins he buys me one of those crappy steaks at LaPrades on Lake Burton.

I can’t believe that Trubisky f-cker is the #1 QB prospect. I mean, I knew it was a weak class, but COME ON…

I cannot stand Alabama. Sick of them. Crap call on Clemson roughing the passer.
    Alabama is head hunting

    yep… tendencies…

Bama puts points on the board first…
Tigers need to step up a notch on offense…

Lots of time left on the clock…

idk.. three cheap shots not called on Bama defense so far…

‘guess the zebras are waiting for them to bring the golf cart out on the field before they settle this down..

I thought it was just me. I have an admitted bias against Bama so I was wondering if I was seeing it right.

Steve Sarkisian is calling an excellent game, understanding he has talent advantages EVERYWHERE.
