Wuf-I think that you had clued us in earlier; if the Golden Domers and we both win today, the Pack is in Sunday’s Championship Game.
Conversely if the Irish win today and we lose, there is no Saturday scenario that would get us to Sunday.
ND beats UVA 8-2.
If State beats Miami tonight, they go to the ACC title game. If they lose, State is out. Tomorrow’s game vs. UVA is completely meaningless to State (outside of RPI) in terms of getting to Sunday.
Hope to see you there tonight. Should be fun.
Even though Miami swept the Pack, the Pack is better than they were early in the season. Hearing Wilder will probably start tonight. Hope his control is spot on.

Yep, lots on the line tonight. daU also happens to be #1 in RPI now, so a win helps there as well (Pack is #37 after yesterday’s win).
I too hope Wilder is up to the big stage, but a quick hook is likely if he isn’t. ‘Canes offense is scary good.

Yesterday was the only pool play game I could attend. I was there. My efforts directly contributed to the win.

We go back a lil ways. Back before even 8 Below, but Journeyman and Daybreak sealed it for me.

OK….in a Position to WIN (now, WHO said that?). First time since 1992….we are DUE.
However, the Double and the Double Dropped Ball (or whatever you call it) seemed like a PayBack for the two wild pitches.
We win….Palmerio has to have something in the DNA. He moved around and grabbed the base to avoid being tagged out. If you look at the Hurricane’s catcher, you could see it in his eyes….he KNEW that he had been faked out.
What a game. What an effort. Really almost gave it away a few times….but we held on.
