Honestly….did anyone really expect anything different today? Someone said were were 1-14 after beating Duke/UNC….we are actually 1-19 overall after a big win over the Blues. No performance, no defense, no show….typical NC State basketball after a big win. I told my better half wish had not made such a big deal with the campus celebration over the win against Cheats….we can’t handle success or admiration.
Today is why I try and stay grounded with NC State basketball…knew it was coming. What pisses me off is that you don’t see good programs, not necessary good teams, tank like NC State does after a big win. Or a big loss. You never see the Blues or most other teams in ACC do this. Course, most teams don’t get so emotional over beating a team like UNC unless you are Clemson.
Think about it….we just lost to the worst team in the ACC and perhaps D1 knowing we need to win to make the Dance. If the kids can’t get up for this type game or atmosphere, then not sure if its on the staff or kids. And don’t give me this “dealing with 18 yr old” crap…we are almost 30 games into the season with so much on the line. We are NC State.
