Two things worth mentioning about the State of Florida that are not readily apparent…
unles you lived there or traveled there extensively…
1. Florida is HUGE… from So Miami to Pensacola is 16 hours or twice as far from Murphy to Manteo…
2. Most of Florida (esp. Central and North ) is as rural as Eastern NC… and there’s not much to keep kids there…
A guy like Dave Doeren would be well received there by both parents and kids and could easily pick up more than a few quality kids that for whatever good reason won’t be headed to Miami, Gainesville or Tallahassee…
One thing (re:Wolfanatic) is becoming abundantly clear…. High School Coaches ‘like’ Coach DD !
When was the last time anybody felt good about saying that about any State coach?
