Well, at least weather won’t be an issue as Tropicana Field (home of the Tampa Bay Rays) is always a comfy constant 72 degrees. Before and after the game, Ferg’s is a very popular sports bar (with good food) that is located at 1320 Central Ave- just a one block walk to and from The Trop. They also have game day parking, but usually a bit more costly than the stadium. Parking there (limited) does make leaving a bit easier. Ferg’s should be jam-packed with hundreds of fans. The place is very large and accommodating. It should be an excellent game, and a good time for all.
M. Valdes-Scantling went to Lakewood High, just 4 -5 miles south of the Trop. Lakewood has already promised to bring a large crowd. Lakewood has had an excellent program for quite a while. The Pack may be helped in recruiting in the Central-West Florida area.
