I like them. Always have, always will. Plenty of corporations and educational institutions, including State, have primary color palettes – red, white AND black for State – as well as accent color palettes.

And technically, white is not a color, so without the black we’d just have solid red uniforms with red numbers and letters. 🙂
It’s 2014, things change. That said, I’m with Wufpacker, I prefer just STATE on the front.
