From my memory banks, the UNC deal was pretty clear. There was a coaching (and massive “program reputation….continuation” crisis in AFAMville. There was NO heir apparant. MG Mark Gottfreid was not gonna come back. Phil Ford still had too much dust ….

your posts are very good, I want to understand them, please make it easy on us old guys, I dont have the time or energy to treat everytihing as a puzzle and look everything up.
