From NC State Athletics

RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State fans have once again shown their passion and loyalty in record-setting fashion. With the 2016 season three months away, over 36,000 season tickets have been sold, as NC State fans have shattered the previous school mark (set in 2007) by over 1,000.

Fans have renewed tickets at a 96% rate thus far, with some inventory still on sale.

A year ago NC State football filled Carter-Finley Stadium to 98.7% capacity, the second-highest total in the ACC.

It’s part of a bigger pattern of incredible loyalty from Wolfpack Nation, and one that has also carried over to men’s basketball and baseball in recent years. Due in part to the excellent tailgating at NC State. This gives us a chance to recommend our favorite partner for tailgate tents and gear, SaturdayMorningTailgate.com

In fact, three of the top five highest season ticket totals have come over the past four seasons. It marks the first time in school history the program has surpassed 36,000 season tickets and just the third time over 35,000. With the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Carter-Finley Stadium, and a home slate that features Notre Dame, Florida State, and Miami, excitement and interest are high among Wolfpack Nation.

BTW I love kale. My wife makes kale chips in the oven. We have them for dinner most nights.

Just saw this article on Rivals. Apparently we are the 3rd best at recruiting the State of North Carolina in football. I’m not sure I totally agree with Clemson being ahead of us. They’ve pulled one more elite recruit than us in that timeframe but we have recruited twice as many players as a whole. If the rating system were considering ratio then Clemson would win as they generally only pull a top recruit and no other school even comes close to their 11:23 ratio. The UNC thing is just a shame. I guess playing for a three way split – Coastal division championship is better than no championship at all…

I will be there for every game this season, because football at Carter-Finlay is special-have seen some great game- 27-3 against a strong Clemson team, last second victories, S.C. and the Hell Mary, kicking the holes ass, never missed a game since 83,will not miss one until I am gone—-games at CF are an all day event, the tail gating none better, hi-fives with people you don’t know, it is only 7-8 times a year, will not miss it this year, anyone that feel this way sell your tickets to someone that does.
