It’s gonna be a fun day today just watching teams hoopin’, but tomorrow…clench up, pace in a circle and hope like hell Calvin shows up and leaves CJ at home.
2 games of interest to me this afternoon are Bucknell/Butler and Wichita St/Pittsburgh. I picked Bucknell to upset and I’ve got Pitt getting past Gonzaga next round.
Low scoring match so far between MSU/Valpo. 8-8 11:42
Valpo looks like UVA. They play really “active” defense around the post. They’re eventually gonna wear themselves out.
under 8:00 MSU/Valpo 21-12 MSU
well go ahead pencil MSU into the thirsty 32
Halftime update: MSU 35 Valpo 18. Too much Sparty.
I hope no one picked Valpo to upset Michigan State.
Halftime 35-18 MSU
“and I’ve got Pitt getting past Gonzaga next round.”
I agree , jigawatts. In fact I think Pitt blows the doors off the zags.
Buck/But is brutal to watch. Neither team can shoot.
Barkley and Kenny Smith are talking absolute garbage about NCAA investigations.
Investigate the problems as they happen, indeed.
The scope of the investigation has expanded beyond the NCAA’s inquiry last year into possible drug-related violations, and now includes the school’s handling of Fab Melo’s academic eligibility and an alleged sexual assault case involving three players in 2007, according to the Syracuse Post-Standard.
Wait, what, the NCAA actually CARES about academics? The brain trust that runs UNC Inc. must be shocked!
Looks like Izzo is going to blow a gasket. Can’t blame him, they’re only up 21…
Bucknell is killin’ me . my early upset special is definitely upsetting.
The sound in the Mich State game is killing me. They’ve got some irritating cross-talk.
For people like me who don’t have cable (so I only get CBS over the air) it appears CBS and TBS at least are streaming the games for free.

I made the exact same picks in my pool at work. Glad to see Bucknell finally making a run…
Yeah…Someone removed the lid from Bucknell’s basket.
They need to put it back on as I have Butler going to S16 (losing to ‘Canes) dammit.
I am in agreement with the love for Pitt, however.
Go you Bison. Cheer, cheer for dear old Bucknell!
Butler reminds me of Virginia. They’re looking ugly. Big comeback by Bucknell, that Wilman (sp?) has a quick release.
Screw ‘dem Bison, Go bulldogs, get yer heads outta yer arses…or something like that
Now we’re talking….assert yourselves bulldogs!!
I have only seen the second half of Bucknell/Butler, and that action has been fantastic. Such incredible runs.
I could see the winner doing real damage. Bucknell’s no joke, and we have all seen what Butler can do.
I wanted to pick both teams to make a run in the bracket, hate they were matched up so early. But good viewing.
I believe the Bison have left the prairie.
