Great video! Side note….Crap KU came back to beat Purdue. Really hoped it would have been Purdue. KU is tough match up for us. It’s like playing UNC in different uniforms.

    Anyway, Go Pack!

    KU starters go:
    6-3
    6-8
    6-9
    6-10
    7-0

    Bigger than GT.

second that eas…ugghh their fans are almost as intolerable because in case you haven’t heard, they invented basketball. So naturally we should thank them and pay homage to them after every game that’s ever been played.

KU did not look overly impressive tonight. They are very quite beatable.

This may be the best recruiting video we have produced in years…

This video induces so much emotion out of me. Absolutely love our team and fans.

This victory will bring a whole new meaning to that SFN coined phrase: “Is it Friday yet?” hahaha this week is going to be agonizingly long.

  10. redcanine 03/18/2012 at 11:17 PM #

Did he said “Go Titans, Go Pack!”. Maybe they watched
    ‘Remember the Titans’ this week.

Had to be “Go Titans” because Bama’s phrase is “Roll Tide”, which he clearly did not say.

  11. PackMan 03/18/2012 at 11:22 PM #

Yeah- I think that was a “Go Tide”. Oops.

WHO would have thought that only TWO ACC teams would be in the Sweet Sixteen and BOTH of them would have North Carolina in their names.

Also, I want to personally thank the THREE NCSU Students that were the INFORMAL cheerleaders in section 115 of the Columbus Nationwide Arena. They were there on Friday and were on the bottom row. They got chased out today and were “hidden” on the top row. Their enthusiam and spirit outdid ANYTHING that the Cameron Crazies could do.

They stood the entire game and were vocal and loud and very polite, all things considered.

They got our “fuddy-duddy” section fired up and keep us yelling.

Never have 500 – 600 fans made SO much noise.

GO PACK. ON TO St. Louis.

“this week is going to be agonizingly long.”

On the contrary, I’d like to see this week last forever. This is a great time, when there are only 16 teams left, and you get to hear State “in the conversation” all week long. You could have made a drinking game out of the Kansas game for all the times the mentioned the Pack. I love it.

Bonus, no Duke! Although Bilas will probably do an in-dpeth analysis of their downfall.

This might be the best week of the basketball season if your team is in the Sweet 16.

It does not matter who we play because we are playing with house money now. Kansas has everything to lose and we on the other hand could not ask for any better recruiting tool than the one that is happening now.

I don’t think we have turned the corner, I believe we have built a new road.

    “We’re not done . . . .”

  20. tuckerdorm1983 03/19/2012 at 5:58 AM #

its a tall order to beat kansas, but I think at this point we can do it. Purdue had them on the ropes and in the end panicked and let them go.

The odds makers probably put it at a 7 or 8 point win in favor of them

  21. BladenWolf 03/19/2012 at 6:28 AM #

We can beat Kansas. There is no doubt in my mind. We are playing as well as any team in the Midwest and there is no reason to think we can not win the next two games and play in the Final Four. Thank you Coach Gottfried. You’ve taken this same mentally fragile team from last year and made them believe! You’ve made a believer out of me too! GO PACK!

You know…it’s feels nice for it to be the latter part of March and not reading any “WTNY” posts.

I watched this last night, and even AFTER the chilling period of an okay yet restless night’s sleep, I actually shed a tear watching this again this morning.

I’m sure I speak for all Wolfpack fans in saying that we as a fan base could not be more thrilled for our players and our staff. Holy cow they have earned the red carpet being rolled out for them to show our appreciation it’s awesome to see our fans delivered last night.

Nice work to all Wolfpackers everywhere!

  24. Texpack 03/19/2012 at 8:04 AM #

It’s especially nice to see CJ Williams get to do this but it’s even nicer to hear Gott say the team isn’t satisfied. In ’83 the team didn’t come back to Raleigh until after they had won the West Regional so there wasn’t a Sweet Sixteen celebration involving the team.

Just got in from Columbus at 1:00 AM. NCSU had the most vocal fans there. It was great. This team truly believes in themselves. At this stage of the tournament anything is possible. Back to back Ole Roy’s two favorite teams. GO GET EM PACK!!!!
