The Boys of Fall
I guess you can count this as another music star looking to ‘cross-over’ with a sports anthem. Fortunately, this one works.
I am not a Kenny Chesney fan…but, I like this a lot more the awful ‘crap & rap’ music that pervades almost all of today’s ‘pump up’ music. Shawty get loose, anyone? (You know that a topic if viable when you get 105 comments!!!)
With a hat tip to Pete Carroll’s Twitter account, we thought we would share the following video as we count down to football season! Carroll indicates that he showed this to his team before the Seahawks NFL preseason game this weekend. Enjoy…

great pep talk at the beginning of that. is that sean payton?
put me in, coach.
eh
The State of Music is lost when Kenny Chesney is your savior.
If my worst enemy ever wanted to torture me they could water board me or, if they really hated my guts, they could play Kenny Chesney music on repeat.
it was a good video until the singing started…
That is probably the best way to say it…football highlights were good
And here I thought Kenny Chesney only sang about the beach.
OK. I am a music snob and I am at peace with it. I have grown to detest watered down country with a flare for the generic as much as bump and grind hip hop anthems. Is he the guy that sings the “take the cat leave my sweater song”. The theme songs always come out cheesy and wreak of ice dancing. As much as it pains me to say it I am going to have to declare I prefer Shawty Get Loose.
Mike Hogewood introducing Shawty Get Loose was nothing short of instant classic.
Not a country fan by any stretch, but I honestly like the song (and really the video as a whole). For anyone that actually played on Friday or Saturday nights, the lyrics actually ring pretty true. Maybe its just me, and maybe its because I can’t stand 98% of rap music
