3:20pm update: The SID’s office has killed the link of the Media Guide. It is unfortunate for anyone using the link during the FSU/NC State BASEBALL game that is happening at FSU right now. For someone interested in learning anything about NC State’s baseball team, the best source of information is now unavailable. Instead of fixing the problem, the SID’s office does what it does best: sweep their mistakes under the rug and pretend that they never happened. Add in damnation for anyone pointing out their mistakes as either hating NC State or simply lying, and you have business as usual in one of the least competently run departments in all of college sports.

Certainly whoever approved the final proof needs to be fired. The whole point of a “final proof” is to make sure that there are no typos. Not a hard job, if whoever is tasked with it will just DO it.

Unbelievable mistake; especially on the front page.
From page 3 of the media guide, “The 2010 Wolfpack baseball media guide was written and edited by Bruce Winkworth and Ian Johns of the NC State athletics media relations office.” However, since Annabelle Myers is the Director of NC State Athletics Media Relations, she is to blame for this unacceptable error. Par for the course…

I seem to have spent close to 80% of my posting time pointing out sh!t like this. It is a pandemic thing over there.
I’ve written Gopack numerous times about erroneous history that is still uncorrected, the library site for the same reason, and nothing ever changes.
