“Les Robinson didn’t even finish 12th!!!”

Low Blow! Low Blow! … but funny

  2. ncsukyle430 Says:

Les didn’t have a twelfth to finish in. But still disappointing.

  3. Stoner Says:

    Who cares?

  4. kyjelly Says:

Its not Sids fault give him a couple of days he will blame it on someone or something, never him.

“We’re really counting on those mid-terms to pull us through!”

Thanks a lot Lee Fowler – you’re one hell of an AD.

  6. graywolf Says:

Again, the positive is we have no where to go but up! The negative is I’m not convinced we have the staff to do it and I think we flounder again next year.

Listening to the post-game on the radio -

Dino Gaudio is extremely classy; he was very complimentary of NC State and a lot of our individual players regardless of how terrible we’ve been playing … I really like this guy (not b/c he was pumping NC State up while losing, but b/c his comments seemed geniune and very classy)

Sidney has not been on yet

  8. Clarksa Says:

After losing to f-ing ECU, is anyone really surprised at the outcome of the season?

  9. wufpup76 Says:

^Ohh, and off-topic – but Miami and FSU are going to overtime for anyone who gets it on TV

  10. wufpup76 Says:

Sidney didn’t have too much to say in his radio postgame comments … tone was pretty somber

  11. BoKnowsNCS71 Says:

People be positive. There is only one more game left and the season is over. Truly something to look forward to and to ease your suffering.

  12. Rochester Says:

If he can land the mythic awesome ‘09 class that we all know we need after this streak he’s truly a better salesman than coach. If you were a 5-star kid in that class why would you sign a LOI with us in November, before there’s been any proof that this will be turned around?

  13. MattN Says:

9-23 the last 2 ACC seasons. We’ve become completely irrelevant.

  14. JT Says:

Jesus, what a horrible year. At least it is officially laid on the line for next year- if they don’t come out clicking and in great shape THEN I’ll pass my own judgment. It’s gonna be interesting to see how Sid and the staff deal with this disaster. If Ben and Brandon come out as doughy as this year, I’m gonna just tune it out.
This year was a real joke. Only it wasn’t HaHa funny.
    Fuck.

  15. Ed89 Says:

Rochester, I agree. As much as I’d like to hope for the best, we’re going to have to see a turnaround (next year) of monumental proportions to haul in great ‘09 and ‘10 classes. LAST in the ACC….wow, I woulda never thunk it.

Rick – Don’t come on this site with the Herb crap. You will be banned if it continues. He left.

  18. Rochester Says:

In European soccer we’d be dropped to a lower league for next year.

  19. mroli Says:

    ^^^^^
SteveThePackFan, you will be condemned to at least the 4th level of hell for that comment. I admire your guts.

  20. Howler Says:

Just got back from the game and saw what I expected to see. Wake’s guys even looked sharper than ours during warmups. Lots of barely-there defense and allowing offensive rebounds and unforced turnovers. The in-bounds play with 4 seconds on the shot clock …..whose fault was that? Inexusable. I really want to feel that next year will be better, but based on what?

  21. Ed89 Says:

This proves to me why the NBA sucks………………

  22. Ed89 Says:

    but I still don’t agree with SteveThePackFan……

  23. Dogbreath Says:

Folks, firing Sidney Lowe will do nothing until one Jed Clampett is escorted out of the Case Center.

This is PRIORITY 1 for our university.

In all likelihood, Sidney Lowe will be here for at least one more season.

Replace the AD now, give him one year to settle into the position, then give him carte blanc to conduct a national coaching search for every sport that has not finished >3rd in the conference at least once in the past four years.

It is time for spring cleaning in West Raleigh, and it starts in the AD’s chair. Pronto.

  24. highstick Says:

Herb wouldn’t even have won the Old Spice banner! 7 in a row? Gosh, no wonder there are people out there that would vote for Hillary and Obama!
