well fergy player of the game what the hellis sid going to say now?
it does no good to say we played bad half
when the other team is 3-9 and your losing by 26 second half then you know your team quit
    78-77 loss i can accept
he should be forced to resign

Can someone please post Sid’s postgame comments in this topic?

I didn’t like him trying to be the point guard a few times there, who can really blame him for that though, but Costner did play just as hard as anyone else in a Wolfpack uniform today.

    For whatever that’s worth.

    Well, another fifteen minute effort.

But there’s no quit in this team, none at all. At least they have that.

I won’t go so far as to demand a samuri-style ritual suicide for dishonoring the family, but today’s performance at the LEAST calls for an apology to fans and deep soul-searching by the coaching staff.

The frustration on his face at the end of the game says it all……I have seen it before. My fear is that if things don’t get a lot better next year then this situation could get real ugly.

^agreed, t-pack … after that first half performance an apology is in order at the very least

can anyone put up a pic of leitao’s face? i’m suffering from “close-up of leiato’s face” withdrawl already (*joke*)

Interesting that Hickson and Grant sat much of the second half. As if Lowe was trying to get a look at what next year’s squad might look like. We did play a lot better in the second half, but Virginia probably didn’t care as much once they went up by 27.

This is the lowest pt. in NC State basketball I have ever seen. Losing to the worst team in the conference is bad, but losing this bad is inexcusable. I fully expect Sidney Lowe’s resignation tomorrow (just kidding). Are these kids on drugs? If there isn’t considerable improvement (which shouldn’t be hard) next year, Lowe’s days are numbered.

yes it really does, sid really appears to be clueless. i see a resemblance to our boy chuck amato. what the heck is up with the red blazer. its just like those infamous red shoes and sunglasses. is there any word on the inside as far as holding lowe accountabe for whats going on. i am really at a loss for words as i type. this frustration consumes me. i usually dont think highly of fans who bail out on coaches early, but in this case, i really dont see any other answers or excuses for this. can someone please give some sort or reasonable explination? this is embarassing and aweful

    Besides just talent…

…what the hell is wrong with this team?

After an 18 point laugher on the road how will the pack respond in the next game? Maybe Grant will have some answers like he did after the UNC game.

A clip taken from the N&0 and RAWFS:

“Grant gives no validity to such criticism and insisted it doesn’t irritate or hurt him.

‘I can take it,’ he said. ‘I don’t pay any attention to that,’ he said. ‘They don’t know what we’re going through.’”

Grant is right because they don’t know what the FANS are going through!

Next game starters: Javi, Trevor, Grant, Costner, McCauley
6th man: Hickson–He goes in for whovever screws up first on the front line because he seems to play better after being benched (just bench him to start the game).
1st guard sub: Fells–He goes in for Trevor and hopefully plays mad and motivated due to not starting.
Tracy Smith should get significant, consistent minutes to get ready for next year.
MJ should go in only to give Javi quick breather and then come out immediately when Javi is ready to go back in.
Horner and Harris should get limited minutes.

stanly, its a lack of coaching and leadership. i really dont see any sign of improvment. if there was hope, the team would not be disintegrating in the middle of the season. someone with even a hint of coaching skill would be able to fix at least one of the many problems and show a minemal inprovment at the very least. it just gets wors every game

What are they going through? Hell, I’d believe him, I’d just like to know what the damn problem is. It’s obvious that something is seriously wrong with this team internally. Got to be.

Someone with some inside knowledge has to be able to shed some light. This team is just too in shambles for there not to be.

    “…post comments…”

Here’s the thing, when was the last time time the media has asked relivant questions to the coaches around here. Like..oh I don’t know…Coach what has been your thought process in subbing Johnson over Ferguson over the last 3 weeks? Or…You continue to Set Hickson 20 ft away from the basket. Can you give us insight on that process? Or …with the seemingly lack of man to man pressure your club has, can you tell us why you do not employ more zone defense? There are some great questions out ther for a media hack to put forth. But we never hear ‘em.

    ^wufpup, LOL!

This is a nightmare. Javi is developing somewhat, but there is not a true or good guard on this team.

Seems I’ve already typed that somewhere before? But back then I also typed that there wasn’t a true center, a true…

for real. i would love to have some inside info on what is going on with lowe. from what i understand and seen in the past, lee fowler wont do anything. i havnt heard good things about him at all. after all he was kinda responsable for the Amato fiasco

Have you noticed that we always provide a showcase game for the opposing team’s best player? I think Singletary just moved up in the draft.

So guys… seriously… why are you still spending 4 hours every week watching this team? They don’t play… they simply count down the minutes until the season’s over.

Just spend your time doing other things… trust me on this one… you’ll be a far happier person.

Has there ever been a low budget horror film about a group of young adults stuck on an elevator? The premise is that all they know is that they are going down and that the elevator never stops and the door never opens. Who knows what’s at the bottom or what it will take to get out of whatever sub terrainean hell thy’ve been left in.

If not, we have the screen play, actors, Director and Producer already in the process of completing over two months of shooting such a movie.
