Temple has dropped NC State from their schedule. NC State will play host to Middle Tennessee on Nov. 19 and will have an open date on Sept. 10.
The article didn’t address if Temple paid NC State the $250,000 buyout as that, according to the media, was stipulated in the contract. IKB had to say, “I hate that it’s this late, but I understand people (Temple) doing what’s best for their student-athletes.”
What about what is best for the NC State football team? I have this feeling that for some reason we didn’t hold Temple’s feet to the fire, and make them pay the buyout. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
