The Sooners of Oklahoma outlast Okie State in Stillwater, thus the winner of Texas/Baylor takes the BIG12’s BCS berth.  Nice job Cowboys.

    Yep. Mizzou and TA&M are good, but how would they do if they had to play an SEC schedule? Oh, wait…

    Their percieved dominance has “saved” the SEC more than once. Weeden’s Cowboys would’ve beaten Alabama 2 years ago.

    SEC defenses have been dominant because they’ve played against mundane offenses and poor QBs. Not so much when they added a couple of decent Big 12 teams with modern offenses and good QBs.

    There was something “electric” in the air approx. 7:55….

    That is when everyone watching the AU-Mizo game all clicked their remotes…..as AU went up by another TD….

    What a DEFENSIVE struggle…..

    BTW…..the Refs in this game qualify for ACC BB reffing….

    Bryan and company today at the BB game were in the zombie zone for the first half. At half, they got a call from the Buffalo Looney Bin (J. Swofford at the Helm) and told to get with the program.

    They then tweeted their way towards their average….

    ONTO FSU & Duke….have on Royal Blue but still my red from today’s game….

    UPstate western New York, back in the day, was a progressive thinking place… at least, athletically.

    Maybe it was, but I traveled to Cortland and Syracuse for about 15 or so years….even during the winter.

    Wandered around the area for dinner and had some long weekends with DW in the Finger Lake areas. I always thought that it was REALLY progressive…as in it’s academia leftist leanings.

    If it was ever progressive in its athletic mentality, then I think that all changed when they started running NASCAR at Watkins Glen.

    Boys in dark blue trying to control the ball…..that’s one way to keep FSU from running up the score….

    Looks like SEC will get a chance to make it eight in a row. It won’t be easy as the Noles are a machine. But Aubie just seems to have “it”. Making quite a run.

    Bucks come all the way back. We are tied at 17.

    Duke getting smacked around and still without a point. FSU is dangerously solid at every position. And Jimbo just got a contract extension. FSU will continue to be a load for us in the years ahead.

    Several men are in the locker room of a Western New York golf club. A cell phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands-free speaker function and begins to talk. Everyone else in the room stops to listen.

    MAN: “Hello”

    WOMAN: “Hi Honey, it’s me. Are you at the club?”

    MAN: “Yes.”

    WOMAN: “I’m at the shops now and found this beautiful leather coat. It’s only $2,000; is it OK if I buy it?”

    MAN: “Sure, go ahead if you like it that much.”

    WOMAN: “I also stopped by the Lexus dealership and saw the new models. I saw one I really liked.”

    MAN: “How much?”

    WOMAN: “$90,000.”

    MAN: “OK, but for that price I want it with all the options.”

    WOMAN: “Great! Oh, and one more thing… I was just talking to Janie and found out that the house I wanted last year is back on the market. They’re asking $980,000 for it.”

    MAN: “Well, then go ahead and make an offer of $900,000. They’ll probably take it. If not, we can go the extra eighty-thousand if it’s what you really want.”

    WOMAN: “OK. I’ll see you later! I love you so much!”

    MAN: “Bye! I love you, too.”

    The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are staring at him in astonishment, mouths wide open.

    He turns and asks, “Any idea whose phone this is?
