I know Duke is the massive underdog but Jesse Palmer couldn’t have done a better job of talking them down today.

You truly have to be an NC State fan to understand how OK State feels. With 80 sec to go they have just taken the lead and are that far away from a BCS bowl. OU then scores TWICE in said 80 sec; yes, the same OU who rolled over and wet on themselves for the shorthorns of UT. Absolutely pathetic. Lord help us if we have to suffer through whiner brown in another BCS bowl beat-down.

    Go Baylor.

I like both SEC finalists. Obviously, it is all about cheering against Mack Brown in the channel flipping option.

Stupid TBPU, opening the door for Mack like that.

Jesse Palmer is a complete tool. Didn’t he do the bachelor?

Add Baylor to the “if they only had a decent placekicker” list. Ugh, you just know Mack Brown will suck out in such a scenario as is developing.

Auburn’s lucky streak doesn’t seem to have followed them to Atlanta.

Missou gets a real break on that last TD no call from zebras.

Baylor’s punter sucks too. Surprise onside kick in Atlanta! How fun.

The quality differential between Baylor/TX and Aubie/Mizzou is stunning. Even factoring out the weather.

Mizzou is going to have to lose that three man front if they want to stay in this game until the end. That was a drive like you see against an FCS school that’s not very good to begin with.

Auburn could have scored 40 already if team stupidity would stop rearing its head. Having said that, Mizzou is a dang good football team.

^Exactly Alpha! I just didn’t know how to put it that well.

I will take SEC football over the field any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Yep, even Sundays. It is that good.

    Is Mizzou SEC football?

In other words, are you saying that inside of 2 years they are all of a sudden not Big12?

    Just asking.

Yes, Mizzou has certainly earned their stripes in the best conference in the land, and I do enjoy watching them play. But was just more generally making the point that each and every weekend there are multiple competitive games of a national significance.

Barring some type of OK State bed-wetting the calls are currently being made to the agents of whiner browns replacement.

Well that’s my point. Though contration.

Mizzou and ATM, for that matter, didn’t have to earn stripes. Nor would another dozen or more programs across the land to compete in the SEC.

I’m thinking the same Cowdog. Once you look under Al/LSU and SC/GA, well, there isn’t much. AU looks to be the real deal for a while now that Malzahn is wrapped up for 6 more. He better get himself some D players to help out Ellis.

AU is flat-out fun to watch and it isn’t Duck smoke & mirrors.

Both are embarassing the SEC right now…No defense at all which was what I expected from Auburn.

Dang..coulda, shoulda, been there except for laying a turd in Knoxville punchbowl!

… Hard to believe Auburn has 495 yards rushing in three quarters….

Only thrown the ball 9 times….

Throwback (no pun intended) to soft helmets and the single wing….

which I’m sure more than a few of you guys (Mr. Stick) ran yourselves back in junior high school.
