Pack had numerous opportunities to stretch it out but settled for long shots after some dribbling. Erm.
Great game plan and execution of it to keep Bama D on the field for 99, NINETY NINE, freaking plays. They were gassed before the 4th quarter even started.
I seem to recall Saban being opposed to fast pace of play and proposing the 10 second rule. “Player safety” was his concern 🙂
This reminds me of the GB/NYG game – not much going on for Clempson early, now they’ve found their groove, Bama treading water.
No picks really, just failure to box out and a little shove from Cobb and there’s your 6. You just can’t let a guy get behind you, but they did. NYG had a few other brain farts – stepping out of bounds at the 3 on a kickoff, not going for the strip-sack fumble, dropping many a pass, bad clock management in the 1st half, going shirtless in warmups, celebrating in Miami before they won anything 🙂
GB survived a mediocre first half (albeit with a 14-6 lead thx to last second Hail Mary) and now are putting the finishing touches on a big game. 31-13 with 3:52 to go.

Thanks to Roy’s inconvenient rescheduling, I won’t be able to watch for at least the first half. Missing the whole game worked well for VT, maybe the mojo continues. Go Pack!

Clearly he “did the work” and earned his way back on to the team. Or they lost, whichever comes first.
I’m looking for a word here … a truly accurate, descriptive word or short phrase for the performance of the over-hyped not-so-big10 Urban Buckeyes tonite against a Team we whupped for 35 minutes…
