Where did you rewatch the game? I’d like to use part of this snow day to relive that glorious day without the anxiety of anticipatory defeat.

I’m sorry, but you’re delusional. Everyone wants to toss out these magnanimous stories about Dean Smith, and I will accept that they are true. Never met him, never liked UNX, WHATEVER. However, I think we all agree he was one of the greatest coaches of all time.
But I disagree that this doesn’t happen at other schools. I went to NCSU 2007-2011. I went to UNC Law 2011-2014. I was heckled by UNC fans at the football game in 2012 (where I had front row seats to the collapse). So what’s your point? There are idiotic fans everywhere, and usually they are students. You really want to argue using the actions of 18-22 year olds? I cringe when I think about how stupid I was at 21, let alone 18. Now, I don’t remember hurling insults of that magnitude, but I have done my fair share of dirt, especially towards ACC refs. Hell, look at the Miami fan who pushed Cat Barber. What about the Kansas State fans who attacked Bill Self and Jamari Traylor the other night? Bottom line, kids will be kids and you should get over it. The same can be said for adults who post online.
You can’t lump all fans into one category. I read the article last night, and yea, maybe I’m too young to understand it, but I wasn’t upset or even embarrassed for my school. Because I realize that one post, written by one person on a fan forum, does not define my alma mater. And I’m going to savor this victory. Because it’s been a long time coming.
Looks like Crapel Hill has their own lunatic fringe. This has to be the sweetest victory in Gott’s tenure at State (it is for me).
Yep, all’s well that ends well. I’ve said it countless times in my 25 years: UNCheat is the most consistently overrated team in college basketball. And we already know they cheated for at least 18 years. I will be prepared to raise my glass of bourbon at 11:30 sharp. . . .
I didn’t like the timeouts from a strategic standpoint (if i remember, they came before the halfway mark in the second half). But the boys came out with much more poise than they would have earlier in the season. So, all the credit to Gott and the rest of the coaching staff for whatever they said to the fellas. Also, I thought it was very BIG of Gott to sort of apologize to Cat for distracting him on that turnover where Cat was called for a walk near our bench (at least it seemed like Gott was blaming himself). Seems like they’re building a good relationship/rapport and that’s awesome for our team.

So we’ve now beaten 2 ranked teams in the past two weeks and won 3 straight. Who wants to bet we won’t get any shine tomorrow?
I’m really scratching my head wondering how THIS Jekyll and Hyde team beat UNCheat, when Leslie, Howell, Zo, and Wood could not in Gott’s year 2?
The lack of offensive variety is glaring. Dez just did the same thing Cat and Lacey have been doing all of the 2nd half. At least he’s getting to the line.
Thanks to one of the commentators, I just realized how much Justin Jackson has been helping us tonight, only 2-7, whereas Paige has only attempted 2 field goals.
So I don’t think my 71-68 prediction will come to fruition. But I like the idea of grinding out a victory in a low-scoring game on the Cheats’ home court.
