KeymasterPurdue gets the win over Iowa … Will help our numbers a smidge.
Boilermakers 4-3 in the B1G, hopefully they work their way into the RPI top 100 before the season’s done (if we need for that to happen, that is).

KeymasterI’m fine not seeing FSU again this season. They are dangerous with the emergence of Rathan-Mayes … he has 24 of FSU’s 61 points today in the Cheat Dome.

ParticipantCarolina doesn’t miss many around the rim.

KeymasterHope Miami lays the wood to Syracuse today.
We need to overtake and then put some distance between ourselves and Syracuse. Need Miami to do well since they beat us head-to-head.

KeymasterTCU leading @ West Virginia late … As much as I’d like to see Huggins’ “basketball” team go down, this would not do us any favors in the RPI.

ParticipantRathan-Mayes finished with 35 as Cheats won by4. TCU-WV going OT

KeymasterHoly cow wild finish in Morgantown
01/24/2015 at 4:54 PM #71039wufpup76
KeymasterOhh man Trent Johnson (TCU coach) went straight after the refs after that finish.
WVU wins by 1 … good for our numbers, bad for TCU

Participant^Indeed, an incredible finish. I thought the foul on TCU with .9 left was very dubious…Exciting game though.

ParticipantCanes looking solid at Cuse. Would be a big win for them on the road.
01/24/2015 at 5:36 PM #71042Wolfanatic
ParticipantRed Raiders spanking #9 Iowa State…
01/24/2015 at 5:38 PM #71043wufpup76
Keymaster^Would be their first conference win – crazy
Miami unable to score against the zone the past 10 minutes … eek
01/24/2015 at 6:00 PM #71045wufpup76
KeymasterMiami pulling a page from the Pack playbook and missing three consecutive front end of 1-and-1’s, two of those by Rodriguez
^Direct cause of their loss if they go on to lose
01/24/2015 at 6:05 PM #71046MrPlywood
ParticipantCooney is still playing for Cuse? He must be about 27 years old.
01/24/2015 at 6:08 PM #71047Wulfpack
ParticipantCanes win.

KeymasterGood week for Miami. Tough turnaround game for them, our effort lucks much better in retrospect.
That said, we need to beat the Irish. We’re at home, and better than them.

ModeratorBoeheim has a ceiling. His teams are notoriously bad defensively, and I’ve been saying it for the past 4 years that Archie is on the way.

Keymaster^You rapscallion!
The mischievous kind, of course – not the detestable kind!

ParticipantIf you are still awake, the NFL Network Super Bowl Marathon is worth setting the DVR for. Rick Volk, Jake Scott, Max McGee, Lynn Swann, Chuck Foreman, the list goes on. Combine that with a little John Facenda narration and it’s off the chain.
01/25/2015 at 1:56 PM #71094Wolfanatic
ParticipantHokies hanging tough with the Hoos. Hoos by 3 at the break.
01/25/2015 at 2:16 PM #71095wufpup76
KeymasterI’ll have a ND game thread up soon … In the meantime, Hokies playing inspired ball and leading UVa early in the 2nd half
