Participant2 consecutive dumb play calls, both outdone by even worse execution.
10/18/2014 at 6:22 PM #59323djcmlc3
ParticipantThat may have been the worst play call I’ve ever witnessed.
10/18/2014 at 6:22 PM #59324packalum44
ParticipantHave to go for it. Idiotic to think Louisville won’t score again.
10/18/2014 at 6:23 PM #59325MrPlywood
ParticipantShould have been 7. You can’t let those opportunities get away.

KeymasterI like the play call, Jacoby has to know he’s out of the pocket and can throw it away. Then you still have three shots to run. It SHOULD be wide open, but Louisville somehow sniffed it out.

ParticipantAwful awful awful play calling and bad decisions on the QB too. Our pass protection is atrocious as well.
Brissett gets nervous and scrambles before the pocket breaks down. This is a trend I haven’t seen improved all season.

ParticipantIst and goal at the one. Two words, Shadrack Thorton. Its not rocket science.
It’s week 8. This trying to be cute for cute’s sake bullsh!t is starting to get old.

KeymasterAt least we have the real Smooth Operator back.
10/18/2014 at 6:26 PM #59331Wufpacker
ParticipantAgreed. Brissett not dumping it and taking the loss is one of those plays that age coaches.
Their big #94 going out might help.10/18/2014 at 6:27 PM #59332Mike
ParticipantI actually liked the play call on 1st down IF JB knows to throw it away if not there. Catch them by surprise. Much better than the pistol wildcat wolfcat whatever that is called. Throw it away and you still have 3 shots at it.
10/18/2014 at 6:27 PM #59333BJD95
KeymasterTheir DL is great, our OL is subpar. I understand taking a shot, and 1st down is the best odds down to do so.
10/18/2014 at 6:28 PM #59334tjfoose1
ParticipantI disagree Beej. Gotta factor in JB’s recent performances and decision making. We’re on the freakn ONE.

KeymasterIt’s probably just a personal hobby horse of mine. I love the run/pass option inside the 2-3 yard-line. Seems like something is always open, plus the easy escape hatch if not.

ParticipantSpeechless!
10/18/2014 at 6:35 PM #59338Mike
ParticipantOur last 2 TO’s back to back without them running a play??????
10/18/2014 at 6:35 PM #59339Gowolves
ParticipantPISS POOR CLOCK MANAGEMENT!! Now no timeouts if you get the ball back
10/18/2014 at 6:36 PM #59340BJD95
KeymasterNeed the kickerFAIL

ParticipantNo such thing as a moral victory BUT these kids played hard and never gave up. Poor tackling hurt us and we need to figure that out but the heart was there today.
10/18/2014 at 6:38 PM #59345djcmlc3
ParticipantOMG. Back-to-back timeouts. Sorry Debbie, but these decisions do not have anything to do with the “talent deficiencies”
10/18/2014 at 6:39 PM #59346tjfoose1
ParticipantI love the run/pass option inside the 2-3 yard-line.
I do too. But not with a skittish
QB trending with wavering confidence and questionable decision making.10/18/2014 at 6:39 PM #59347MrPlywood
ParticipantI don’t usually get hung on on one play or situation, but 1st and goal at the 1, you HAVE to be able to punish (yes, punish) the ball into the end zone. That was 4 down territory IMHO.

KeymasterFair point, Foose.
