    Rick, I think part of that is intentional. Gott wants his players to be expressive and be creative, and doesn’t want to stifle that by making them too regimented. Mow, he may go TOO FAR in that direction, and that shows in some sloppy fundamentals. But I never think we’re awful in that regard, more that we are just about average.

    Where I think he excels is what the Brits call “man management” – he’s not necessarily a fiery “rah rah” guy, but he seems to know how to connect with and get the best out of his players, most of the time.
