Last shot of the half is what makes me cry about this team. I love this team – Sendek couldn’t beat shit. This team can. But they make so many undisciplined decisions.

Other team is in foul trouble. We’ve got the ball for the last shot. What do we do? Attack and get to the line? Nope. Settle for a step-back iso 3. Absolutely infuriating.

HWSNBN = Low variance, low ceiling. That’s what was frustrating. You knew you wouldn’t rise above a certain level.

This team is EXTREMELY high variance, as we have all seen. It can be “tear your hair out” frustrating, but in a tournament sport, I’d rather go that way than have a limited ceiling.

Of course, we’d all like to be high ceiling, low variance like Kentucky. Duh.
