The key is to use their speed and anticipation against them. And Jaylen has plenty of his own, along with great vision and cutting ability. Kudos to Doeren for understanding what kind of game this is, namely one in which you don’t punt on 4th and 1 around midfield.

In 1980 a coach came to State with an index card in his pocket and a passion. Three years later we celebrated a national championship. When was the last time our fan base saw any coach in any sport demonstrate any kind of passion like that? Are we supposed to be content with middle of the pack (no pun intended) records and getting to a bowl game or NCAA dance? Dr Yow?
There’s the nail in our wolven coffin. A penalty that is never called, and flagged ONLY after he dropped it. POOR officiating.
That was total BS. To make it worse the ref who threw the flag was completely screened from even being able to see how close Samuels got.
