Despite my conflict of interest in even commenting, I think I can safely and accurately dispel Dogs’ comments here as not being arrogant, but rather fiercely loyal, and I appreciate them as such.
Coupla things that I’ve wanted to address but wasn’t really sure how to go about it without attracting unwanted and undeserved attention (or sympathy) to myself…
1) Because of some heavy duty family stuff I have not recently been, and for a while longer at least will be unable to be, a particularly reliable ambassador for NCSU sports, baseball or otherwise. While I’ve been fortunate enough to attend the majority of games (my therapy time, truth be told), the rest of my free time has recently been dedicated to something more pressing, which appears on the verge of resolving itself fwiw.
2) I appreciate that others have had enough of an interest in general in NCSU hardball to kick in a thread here and there to take up my slackerz slack. The whole reason I started giving ink to NCSU baseball is because I love it as much or more than the big two….and I just want others to feel the same way.
3) Everyone likes being appreciated, so as I said above, I appreciate Dogs’ words more than I can say, and hope others will understand his motivations.
Bottom line…Wolfpack Baseball still has the chance for something special this year, so let’s all jump on the bandwagon early. M’kay?
