I actually thought the coaching/game plan was pretty darn good. Sure, mistakes were made. But to me the positives outweigh the negatives in this one. I’m sure Bobby isn’t too pleased with his group tonight. We didn’t make it easy. The effort in the BC game was subpar. The effort in this one very strong.
We have two weeks to prepare for a game that we most certainly can win. We just can’t lay an egg there, or against Wake. Those are the two we must have for bowl eligibility. These are the games we MUST win if we are going to dig out of this awful hole any time soon. Forget FSU, Clemson, and to a lesser extent Lville. They are way ahead of us. We’ve got to take advantage of our opportunities against the BCs, Wakes, Cuses, etc. That is our company. Just need to get to a decent place to take the next step as a program after hitting rock bottom last year. Big opportunity next time out. Lose and all bets are off.
