The way I see it, we were extremely short-handed by suspensions, and had just been pantsed at home by a mediocre BC team. And of course, we’ve been getting our asses handed to us for two years straight.
That does not ALWAYS translate to easy motivation fodder. You see teams half-ass it every week. It happens.
I’m not saying you give the staff raises and an extension for it. But this level of “fight” is what keeps me encouraged during the darkest days of a complete rebuild.
