^Plywood… that other kinder “best honey” (an NCS classmate) might have been in Martinsville (I was on the way to Roanoke early one morning… and I was so shocked to to see OB/GYN after her name on that brand new sign… I didn’t dare pull in and check it out… after all, it had only been 30 yrs and you know – 4 kids and a wife… later ).
My wife later told me “I should stopped and told the old girlfriend… Hello…”
And Wuf.. Next time I went to Roanoke I took 29 to Danville, and 40West to 220N Roanoke…
Some chances a man just don’t need to take…. Some things my wife still don’t know everything ’bout… ain’t been back to Martinsville since either….

Yeah I had fallen arches – bad – too… but I GOTT a pair of $600 custom inserts from the Foot Doctor and they fixed themselves after a little while…. Now I can walk to the pier and back on the beach – a couple of miles – barefooted and feel good…

Mr. Stick… I still cook my “roasting ears” the old wood-flue-bacca-barn way — (except I use the oven ) …. Just shuck ’em and cook ’em until they changes colors and gets crispy… Serve with butter and salt… Mama’s cooking is sooooo gooood !
