Finally listening to and reading excuses for not attending football games is tiresome. We whine about having to play in the same division as FSU and Clemson and those teams fill the stadium regardless of who they schedule.
Not really. Declining attendance is chronic across college football. SEC attendance was down last year and national champion FSU averaged only around 88% capacity, largely due to their poor home non-conference opponents.
The gripes may be tiresome, but they’re legit and not unique to us.
