Knocking Pitt out may not be our best chance of getting into the ACCT. Pitt has a very weak opponent this weekend in Notre Dame. Chances are high that they sweep the Irish. The Pack’s best chance may be to displace Wake Forest. Although Wake has a 2 game lead, they play Virginia this weekend. If Virginia sweeps Wake and the Pack wins just 2 of the games at VT, State and Wake would be tied with State owning the head to head advantage. If the Pack sweeps VT, then Wake would have to win 2 against UVA to hang on to their spot. The common prerequisite for all of these scenarios is that the Pack must win.
